Testing of bridge rectifier Using Digital Multi Meter

Hello  guys I will make you easy to understand  that how to test a  bridge rectifier using a digital Multi meter  today in a very simple and easy steps.                                                                            

Components required :

Bridge rectifier

Multi meter with probes

Procedure :

Step 1 

Connect the multi meter  with probes positive and negative  with signs given +, -.

Step 2

Connect the positive terminal of bridge rectifier which is shown in the figure  to the negative terminal,that is black wire of multi meter and check  the both sides of positive terminal of bridge rectifier with the red wire of multi meter

Now, note the readings.

Then connect the red wire of multi meter to the pin of  bridge rectifier which is diagonal to the positive terminal of rectifier and then check both sides of this pin with  black wire that is negative wire and note the readings.


Note

  The readings of the multi meter should be more than  . 400 units
