Testing of diode BYQ 28 using digital  multi meter

components required for the testing  of diode byq 28  are 

1. diode byq 28

2. digital multi meter 

The diode byq 28  has 

1. positive terminal 

2. ground  in middle 

3. negative terminal 

procedure :

step 1 

  connect the multi meter  with probes  positive  and negative  with signs given + , - 

step 2 

  

Make middle pin 2 as ground  and with  - probe[ black probe] and test both sides of the diode that is   pin  1 and pin 3 and note the readings 

 step 3

make mibble pin 2 as ground with + probe  [ red probe ] and test  both sides  of  pin 1 and pin 3  and note the  readings 

note:

check that the multi meter reading should be  above . 400 units
